Civil Construction Manager

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree of Civil Engineering or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experiences in construction field, minimum 3 years in related field
  • Very good command in spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD/REVIT, Primavera.
  • Familiar management and delegation capabilities.
  • Excellent resource, planning, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation skills.
  • Possess leadership skills to lead a group of individuals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and oversee construction projects from conception to completion while monitoring compliance with safety and building regulations.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and the construction team to meet contractual conditions of performance.
  • Prepare external and internal reports relating to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.
  • Communicate with the responsible parties to ensure quality construction exceeds company standards and proper industry techniques and processes are utilized, while ensuring the client’s requirements are efficiently met.
  • Review projects progress on a daily basis to ensure quality construction standards exist and estimates remain within budget.
  • Supervise construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and exceed the customer’s requirements.
  • Work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment to plan and coordinate all aspects of the building process from hiring contractors to working with engineers, architects, and vendors.
  • Select tools, materials, and equipment, and track inventory.
  • Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
  • Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
  • Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
